OxfordMUN COVID-19 Statement

Dear delegates, faculty advisors, and members of the MUN community,

Firstly, the Oxford Global 2020 Secretariat would like to express our support and well-wishes for all of you during this difficult time. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and that you are weathering this storm as well as you can.

Oxford Global appreciates the patience of all members of our community as we work to overcome this unprecedented challenge. We would like to make some announcements regarding our 2020 OxfordMUN Conference and how we can better offer assistance and support to all of you.

Our conference is still scheduled to happen from the 13–15th November 2020 in Oxford. Our team is doing everything they can to guarantee that we can offer the best experience Oxford Global has to offer. This will of course be reassessed as the situation develops, but we will keep you informed of any changes.

We are also aware that the uncertainty might affect schools who have already registered for this conference, and would like to assure our participants that your payments are safe with us in the case of further outbreaks or resurgences of the virus in November. More information on our refund policy can be found on our website.

Finally, we are aware that many of our delegates are facing unprecedented disruption to their lives and their studies. Therefore, Oxford Global will produce some online content through our website and social media accounts, including interactive webinars and live sessions addressing a variety of topics. It is our hope that this will offer some support to the members of our community during this time.

Our Secretary-General will be hosting a live on our Instagram page this week to answer questions to members of our community. This will be on Tuesday, 14th of April, at 5:30pm BST.

Our team remains available to answer any questions you may have at our email address: info@oxfordglobal.org. Please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,
Organising Committee
