what We offer
Our Model UN Conferences enhance delegates’ knowledge of international relations while allowing them to immerse themselves in committee sessions. From beginner events such as NoviceNations to our all-encompassing Home Conference, we offer spaces for students to develop skills related to public speaking, diplomacy, and advocacy.
Our Academic Summit for Young Leaders provides an opportunity for students to acquire specialist knowledge. Participants engage with topics beyond the high school curriculum during a week-long programme, guided by researchers while producing an academic article to publish and a final presentation.
In addition to our flagship events, we design tailor-made programmes and innovative curricula for schools, summer courses, and international organisations. We also provide university application support, ranging from structured mentoring programmes to workshops and targeted resources that help students navigate the admissions process with confidence.
Our Causes
From its founding, OG has been driven by the goal of building a passion-led, mission-oriented organisation. We believe that education is one of the most powerful forces for change, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are central to our vision. In particular, we place Quality Education (SDG 4) and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) at the core of what we offer, while fostering Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17) through the global reach of our programmes.
Through our access initiatives and engagement with local communities, OG is also committed to advancing Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), ensuring that our impact extends beyond the classroom and contributes to a more equitable and sustainable world.
Our vision
Our mission is to empower a generation of problem-solvers through transformative education. By engaging with diverse global perspectives, we help students build the skills, knowledge, and confidence to tackle urgent challenges and take meaningful action.
Our mission
OG creates impactful learning experiences that:
Bring together peers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Facilitate collaboration and the exchange of ideas with experts.
Equip students to take real action on pressing global issues.
Build a worldwide network of future changemakers.

Testimonials
“Thank you for the amazing opportunity you have provided me with. It was amazing and I never thought I would experience anything like it.”
“I enjoyed it immensely! l learnt new skills in public speaking and collaboration, and even just being able to watch the ‘veterans’ in my committee taught me amazing amounts, so that my first conference left me confident to compete in others. I made great friends from all over the world who I intend to keep in touch with for a long time, and I thought it so cool to be around intelligent, often bi- or trilingual people with interesting histories. I thank you again for making all this possible. I will remember this trip with fond memories for many years to come.”
“The conference was fantastic and my students enjoyed it very much indeed! It certainly ticked all the boxes as far as I am concerned! Please do pass on my thanks to all the team—you did a great job! Hopefully you can now have a couple of days rest!”
“It was by far the best conference our school has ever attended.”
“We have come for the last two years and we have even now set up a MUN club at school. [...] Three of the Sixth Formers who came in 2018 have set up a lunchtime MUN club. It is very much in the early stages of development but we are working towards this autumn’s MUN event [...]. It runs once a week at lunchtime. They are very enthusiastic about MUN and are really looking forward to returning this year.”
“Last year I had a life-changing experience through being a delegate in the 2018 Home Conference within the Human Rights Council. Being a delegate taught me the importance of diplomatic negotiation and cooperation with students from all over the world. Through developing and expressing leadership, communication, and analytical thinking, I was awarded the best delegate award within the committee, which to this day provides me with the confidence to advocate human rights within my school community and regional areas in Austria. My current affiliation with Amnesty International and human rights activism would not have been possible without the legal foundation and knowledge provided within the conference.”
“Huge thanks for all that you did to give our pupils such an excellent experience. They were buzzing!”
“Thank you so much for organising such an amazing weekend! I know that behind our three days of fun there was months and months of really hard work. OG’s conference was the first Model United Nations event I’ve ever done and I was so happily surprised by how warm and welcoming everyone was and how fun my committee turned out to be. I greatly appreciate what an amazing opportunity it was to come and participate—I feel very privileged to have been able to attend with so many amazing people from around the world, who became friends I’m hoping to stay in touch with for years to come. The effort put in by the committee to get everyone involved, practicing their public speaking and having fun, made the trip so valuable for me. I feel as though I have improved my own self-confidence and speaking skills exponentially and I can’t thank you enough. I’ll always remember what a great experience it was.”
“The incredible and unique opportunity to participate in the Home Conference has truly been the experience of a lifetime for many of our students. Last year we attended the conference with our largest group yet and the students were extremely motivated, ambitious, and exuberant even though it was the first time for many. This is what I would really like all students to feel and OG has supported that tremendously.”
“Last year was our first experience of the Home Conference. We were very impressed by the organisation of the event, the number of committees and the imagination of the organisers. Our pupils really engaged and came away feeling uplifted and inspired by their discussions. The experience of being in the beautiful Oxford setting was also a great benefit.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed the experience last year and three of our delegates received Best Delegate awards. We also worked closely with the OG co-directors to organise and host the OG Summit for Young Leaders in Athens this summer. We are totally hooked!”
“We attended the conference last year and had a wonderful experience. Our pupils were inspired by their surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the debates which they participated. We feel that this is an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, meet like minded people, and learn more about the important issues affecting the world today.”
